Pew Research Breaks Down Social Media Habits
Social media habits have been the subject of a lot of research and discussion recently.
A new Pew study shows an "on again, off again" pattern of use from Facebook users. Two standout stats? 61% of current Facebook users say that they have taken a several week or more break from the site. 20% of adults online who do not use Facebook say that they once did.
Related data shows that 67% of adults online use social media sites. There is a gender divide: 71% of women use social media, as opposed to 62% of men.
Much more worthwhile information after the jump.
And while we're talking about social media, this seems an appropriate place to ask the question we've all been thinking … did Twitter prompt Pope Benedict to resign?
