Meet the Staff of Leadership Journal

Here's a quick introduction to the Leadership Journal staff.

Marshall Shelley is editor of Leadership Journal and an editorial vice-president of Christianity Today International. Marshall joined Leadership Journal in 1982 after developing journalistic skills at Cook Publishing Co. and The Denver Post, and after serving on pastoral staffs in his hometown of Denver, Colorado. He and his wife, Susan (a pastoral staff member at Parkview Community Church in Glen Ellyn, Illinois), have five children. Marshall enjoys racquetball, fantasy football, and traveling to historic sites.

Skye Jethani is managing editor of Leadership Journal as of January 2008. Before coming on board full-time Skye had assisted Leadership as a part-time associate editor while serving Blanchard Alliance Church in Wheaton as a teaching pastor, a role he has occupied since January 2002 after finishing up at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Skye grew up in Glen Ellyn, attended college in Ohio, and now lives in Wheaton with his wife, Amanda, and their children, Zoe and Isaac. Skye has a deep love of history and the comparative study of world religions.

Brandon O'Brien is assistant editor of Leadership and BuildingChurchLeaders.com. He joined the Leadership team in February 2008, after a short time with PreachingToday.com. Brandon completed his B.A. in Biblical Studies and Literature in his home state of Arkansas, where he also served in pastoral ministry. He moved to Chicagoland in 2006 to complete an MA in Christian History at Wheaton College. Brandon loves to read, and he has written for Leadership and Christianity Today. His writing has also been featured in USA Today.
