Perspective on the buzz

As reported by Christianity Today, a new Gallup poll lists the seven people Americans trust more than their pastor. Metrics focused on perceived "honesty and ethical standards" of various professions. Roles ranking higher than clergy included medical practitioners (nurses, pharmacists, MDs, and dentists), engineers, police officers, and college teachers.

At the bottom of the list, car salesmen narrowly beat members of congress for the dubious honor of "least honest" among those polled. See the numbers.
