It doesn't seem possible, but Memorial Day is here already. Heck, some Mother's Day cards are probably still in the mail (sorry, Mom). But I'm not complaining. My wife and I will be traveling to Ohio over the weekend to attend her cousin's wedding, so I'm grateful to be off work on Monday.
Our plans are not final, so I don't know where we'll be on Sunday morning. Whatever church we do attend, however, I'm interested to see if and how they incorporate Memorial Day into the message. Memorial Day isn't a religious holiday per se, and yet there's certainly a spiritual aspect to honoring and remembering those who have lost their lives.
FaithVisuals.com offers a variety of Memorial Day videos, so you can choose the one best suited for the tone of your service. Faith of Our Fathers Countdown shares spiritual thoughts from the men who helped found the United States. Remember Their Sacrifice is a moving homage to the women and men who lost their lives while serving in the armed forces. Taps: A Moment of Silence is a short and effective tribute to the same group.
To see all the Memorial Day videos, backgrounds, loops, and stills, visit our Memorial Day page.
And don't forget: The Worship Films sale expires in less than 2 weeks. To get 25% off all Worship Films media, you must use the coupon code found here.

Video Formats for the Web Finding the best format for your audience. by Marcus Singleton
|
When choosing the best video format for the web, the underlying question, from a media content provider's point of view, is not related to quality of the format as much as the universal accessibility of its intended route. An audience's experience matters more than anything else. More

Embrace Your Limitations Not having the tools you need is an opportunity to create better art. by Tom Greever
|
If you have read anything I've written here on FaithVisuals, you already know I'm a proponent of keeping it simple, using the tools you already have, and not overdoing it. That's not to say you should never try something new. Rather, when we live within the limitations of our circumstances, those limitations force us to be more creative, to solve problems in a unique way, or to achieve a desired effect without spending loads of cash.
