Your guide to an abundant single life from ChristianSinglesToday.com Thursday, January 10, 2008
Did you know that, according to MSN, 40 percent of the entire U.S. single population (or 40 million Americans) has at least dabbled in online dating? We used to find this newfangled trend weird and desperate. But times and attitudes have changed.
So what's your experience been with Internet dating? If you've tried it, what's been your best or worst experience? If you haven't tried it, why not? Share with us at SinglesNewsletter@ChristianityToday.com so we can all compare notes.
Then, check out my recent observations about online dating in "McDating," my column this week. If you've encountered similar challenges in Internet dating, I'd love to hear how you've compensated for them.
Also, if you haven't yet voted in our current poll, take a moment to let us know if any of your relatives asked about your love life over the recent holidays.
As always, thanks for spending time with us this week!
Blessings,

Camerin Courtney

McDating by Camerin Courtney
At first looking for love on the Internet seemed weird. So impersonal, so dangerous, so desperate. But then we realized we weren't meeting potential dates anywhere else. And then a friend of a friend tried Internet dating and didn't get mugged or kidnapped or cut up into little pieces. So maybe it was worth a try.
