Your guide to an abundant single life from ChristianSinglesToday.com Thursday, November 1, 2007
I still remember the time a friend came to my home with a couple non-romantic comedies (not an easy Blockbuster find!) and three kinds of chocolate to help me get over a breakup. More than anything, I was comforted by her presence with me that first evening when my eyes were still red and swollen.
Getting over a breakup is never easy or fun. So we asked you guys for tips on how you heal and move forward. This week's lead article, "The Last Goodbye," is a roundup of this good advice. If you're dealing with a relationship's demise, we pray these ideas help bring you comfort.
Then, I've enjoyed hearing from a few of you responding to my column last week on spontaneity. Inspired by these fun responses, we'd love to hear from more of you who've used this single season to engage in spontaneous delight. Share with us at SinglesNewsletter@ChristianityToday.com.
Whether you're in a grieving season or a spontaneous season in your singleness these days, we pray the coming week brings you moments of surprise joy and Fatherly love.
Blessings,

Camerin Courtney

I wrote, soaked in nature, and cried when I needed to, because holding in tears is never good. I went to the Psalms often and prayed blessings over my life from Jeremiah 33, an excellent chapter on restoration.
