Featured Resource:Hosting Safe & Fun Summer Children's Ministry Events
Martin and Lewis. Abbott and Costello. The Odd Couple.
One of the great comedy devices is to pair two people with very different personalities. When done well, with great actors, the results can be hilarious. But it's no laughing matter when people with different personalities and different goals work together and end up clashing more than meshing. Such can easily be the case when a creative, "right-brain" person (i.e., worship leader) needs to appeal to a logical, "left-brain" person (i.e., accountant or treasurer) for funding to accomplish his goals. Our feature article—"Right Brain, Left Brain"—deals with this specific situation, and provides practical steps for a whole-brain approach to worship arts budgeting.
Also, be sure to check out our featured resource—Hosting Safe & Fun Summer Children's Ministry Events. For one low price, you'll receive three complete download packets to help you make this summer's children's ministry events the best ever.
God bless,

Sizing Up Sunday School Curriculum How to find the perfect fit. by Lynda Freeman
Ministry leaders often choose a Sunday school curriculum based on familiarity, marketing, and tradition. When familiarity or marketing drives the decision, curriculum is changed so often that children never experience a complete scope and sequence of lessons, and as a result they rarely get a complete understanding of God's word. When tradition is the deciding factor, leaders are often saddled with a teaching model that is no longer effective.
