Our Purpose
Men of Integrity is a pocket-sized daily bible devotional guide that encourages regular Scripture study and applies biblical truth to the specific gritty issues men face.
Men of Integrity, published in association with Promise Keepers, also seeks to encourage men in their Christian walk to better fulfill their commitment to godly service in Christ by reminding them of the Seven Promises of a Promise Keeper:
1. Commitment to honoring Jesus Christ through worship, prayer and obedience to God's Word in the power of the Holy Spirit
2. Commitment to pursuing vital relationships with a few other men, understanding that he needs brothers to help him keep his promises
3. Commitment to practicing spiritual, moral, ethical and sexual purity
4. Commitment to building a strong marriage and family through love, protection and biblical values
5. Commitment to supporting the mission of his church by honoring and praying for his pastor and by actively giving his time and resources
6. Commitment to reaching beyond any racial and denominational barriers to demonstrate the power of biblical unity
7. Commitment to influencing his world, being obedient to the great Commandment (Mark 12:30-31) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20)
Our Readers
Men of Integrity readers are usually men between the ages of 30 and 50 working in business, or a specialized trade, such as sales or engineering. They are not likely to be a pastor or teacher, and have attended at least some college. About 30 percent of our readers are using the guide as part of a men's group or Bible study. Often, they are new Christians and not readers of a "traditional" Bible devotional. Men of Integrity serves as an introduction to regular Bible study for these men.
Our Writers
Typically, our writers are Christian men fairly established in their walk with Christ. We look for stories that illustrate biblical principles, written by men who draw from their everyday experiences and lives. Personal experiences that caused you to grow in your faith, or stories about areas of struggle where God has challenged your thinking and encouraged a change in behavior, are the types of stories that fit best into the Men of Integrity format.
Men of Integrity seeks to regularly publish African-American, Hispanic, Native American, and Messianic Jewish writers.
The Articles
Men of Integrity gets its point across by telling gripping stories rather than by exhorting or commenting on Scripture passages. We are looking for easy-to-read pieces built on narrative. The narrative should clearly illustrate a biblical principle around a certain theme.
Generally, we choose themes that will help men cultivate healthy "horizontal" (human) relationships with their wives, children, co-workers, and friends. Themes also address the "vertical" relationship relationship with God. Articles should offer practical advice and personal insights that support growth in both these areas.
Themes used in past issues include: caring for others, loving your wife, spiritual accountability, prayer, self-discipline, God's love, dealing with failure, sexual purity, spiritual warfare, handling anger, fatherhood, hearing God, loving Jesus, wise decisions, boldness, commitment, truthfulness, and enriching your wife. This is not meant to be an exhaustive list but to give you examples of what we have used in the past.
Men of Integrity seeks a mix of articles, from both individuals known in the evangelical community and from ordinary laymen.
Men of Integrity uses the New International Version for all Scripture References.

Manuscripts
Men of Integrity accepts unsolicited manuscripts. They can be sent in hard copy format or via e-mail. Submissions should be sent to the attention of the editor, 465 Gundersen Drive, Carol Stream, IL 60188 or, via e-mail, to: mail@menofintegrity.net.
Men of Integrity will report only on those manuscripts received via e-mail or sent with a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE). We will respond in 3-5 weeks. Please include your name, address and telephone number on all manuscripts.
Devotionals are no more than 200-300 words each. We will accept longer pieces, but you should expect them to be condensed to about 200 words. We like a tight, punchy style and prefer condensing a slightly longer piece to make it fit to receiving a more loosely constructed 200-word piece.
Men of Integrity is able to pay $50 for each original piece accepted ($25 for reprints and excerpts).
