Key Bible Verse: Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms (1 Peter 4:10). Bonus Reading: Romans 13:8-10
For over 10 years, Nick Figueroa, a member of our church, has custom made crates for museums to use in shipping artifacts. In spite of his carpentry skills, he's experienced hard times and built all the crates in a small, borrowed space in an unheated equipment barn.
When Nick was informed that this space would no longer be available, our church's Promise Keepers groupformed after a PK event in New York Cityrapidly focused on Nick's need. We decided to build a workshop for him.
Four weeks ago, our entire congregation prayed for the project to be finished before the first snowfall! The excavation began just six days later. Everything was donated: materials, labor, and food for the men working each day in the cold and rain. The foundation was poured, the block walls laid and, just 21 days after we began, the structure was completed.
The New York museums learned about the project and were impressed. The American Folk Art Museum answered our congregation's prayers by awarding Nick a new orderthe biggest in the history of his little company.

- How can we be more alert and responsive to needs around us? Who might be a good partner to help you?
