We train children to dial 911 in case of emergencies. Such a call is good advice when men face "sexual" emergencies, too. That's when we need to dial 311—Job 31:1 (today's Key Bible Verse).
Make that covenant not to look upon things that will tempt you. Memorize Scripture to call on when tempted. And since God promises to provide an escape when temptation calls, be looking for it.
Long hours and the active lifestyle of a single man don't need to lead you into an addiction that will carry on into your marriage. Young men have told me that when they get married, their problem with pornography will go away. That's Satan's lie. The problem won't go away, it will get worse. The only difference is that you will hurt someone you love.
One day you may be blessed with a son. It's not too early to think about what kind of legacy you want to leave him. Will it be a legacy of lust or of love? The choice is yours, and the time to make that decision is now. It's time to claim the victory that Jesus Christ offers.
