Dan, who owns a septic service firm, rented a portable restroom to Mark for his wedding. When Dan returned to pick up the unit, Mark mentioned a problem with his septic system. So after his deliveries, Dan helped Mark snake out his sewer line. Donna, Mark's newlywed wife, said, "God must have sent you here today, 'cause nobody helps people anymore."

"So you believe in God?" Dan asked, standing on the lid of the recovered septic tank. He proceeded to tell Mark and Donna about Jesus. Donna said she'd made an earlier commitment to Christ; Mark seemed less interested. But they suggested going to the local diner to talk more. And they allowed Dan to pray for them before he left. The next day Dan dropped off a Bible.

Two months later, Dan got a call from Mark. "He told me things weren't going so well with him and Donna, and they'd been thinking about what we'd discussed," Dan related. "He asked if I'd meet with them again. They came. Mark didn't have many comments, just question after question. They came over again. More questions. Finally, Mark had no more questions and was ready to confess his sin and believe in Jesus.
