The Tel Aviv-Paris leg of my return flight, I was surrounded by people who spoke no English. Waiting to board the plane for the 11-hour Paris-Chicago leg, I prayed, Lord, give me someone to talk to or I'll go crazy from boredom. Soon, a lovely blonde French woman, who spoke English fairly well, sat beside me. Lord, I'm a happily married man, I prayed silently, but she'll do fine. Help me focus on her soul, not her beauty.

We shared basic travel facts. "Why fly to Little Rock?" I asked. "It's not much of a destination after Paris."

"Ten years ago I became a Christian," the she explained, "because a missionary from Little Rock gave me a book called Happiness Is a Choice. Have you ever read it?"

"I've heard of it," I chuckled. I'd written the book years before.

"As a result of this book" she continued, "I'm now a missionary in Lyon. We have missionaries in France, but we need counselors. I hope my friend can help me find Dr. Meier, as he needs to come teach us."

I grinned, "I'm Paul Meier." She refused to believe me, so I pulled out my passport. The upshot: we set a time for me to return to France.
