There's a place this side of safe where most people are content to live with their insecurities. If only they knew what it was like on the other side!

What intimidates you? What makes you freeze, turn all thumbs, and stumble over yourself? Wish you could find a way to deal with it?

Well, you've driven up to automatic gates at parking lots and seen the bar go up when your car activates an entrance sensor. At 50, 20, even 10 feet away, it stays down to block your path. But as you come closer, it swings to let you pass through. If you stopped only a few yards from the gate, it would stay closed. Only as you move forward does it open.

If something is blocking your path to a holy commitment or worthy goal, ask God to give you the courage to keep moving ahead. The Lord has an amazing way of clearing obstacles for those who continue to press forward.

Your responsibility is to move ahead. God's is to clear the path between you and the goal that fulfills His purpose for your life.
