I'm definitely not the right person to run the day-to-day operations of a record label, so my friend Don Donahue, who formerly worked for Reunion, came on board as president. We talked for a long time about his experiences in ministering to students, with this guy who was completely unimpressed by the possibility of becoming a well-known artist. As our conversation ended, Chris said, "I'd be glad to do a record with you, but I won't let you try to change who I am or what I do."
