Jerry was hurting. He and Becky had left behind a prominent career and comfortable family backgrounds to serve Christ in a Christian ministry in Dallas. They were to raise their own financial support. But, as is often the case under such arrangements, Jerry got far behind in his support. They had precious children to feed—and a bank that liked to be paid.
Jerry's predicament came to the attention of a Christian who'd become successful in the restaurant business. This brother told Jerry, "God has blessed me greatly.
