Key Bible Verse: I warn you to keep away from evil desires because they fight against your very souls (1 Peter 2:11). Bonus Reading:1 Thessalonians 4:1-8
Jeremy never anticipated someone ever looking back, but she did. He never thought she'd be so attractive, but she was. He never thought she'd have so many things in common with him, but she was his feminine twin. He never thought this attack would come while away at a convention, but it did. He never thought that telling her where he was staying meant anything, but she was making mental notes. He never expected the follow-up call inviting him to her room one floor down for a nightcap. He never imagined a woman so willing to go to bed, but she was.
Jeremy was so unprepared for this invasion on the beaches of his life that he felt helpless to stop it. Satan is expert at reconnaissance. Given half a chance, he can exploit a foothold and soon overwhelm an opponent. That foothold was when Jeremy allowed a lovely woman to return his long glance.
When a man gives Satan what appears to be a small piece of his mind—not even his behavior at first—Satan will begin marshaling his forces to pour through that breach and conquer territory. In spiritual warfare, just as in actual warfare, lives do get destroyed.

My Response: How can I begin to discipline my imagination?
Thought to Apply: He who would not fall off the precipice must not venture too near the edge.—FRANCES J. ROBERTS (poet & hymn writer)
