Who Said It Dave Park
Dave Park has spoken to teens, parents, and youth leaders for more than 20 years. He's also co-authored 12 books and the Busting Free curriculum with Neil Anderson. The organization he founded is His Passion Ministries. Dave lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his wife Grace, three children, four Siamese cats, and a Scottie dog. His idea of fun is watching the Denver Broncos with a huge glass of Dr. Pepper.
What He Said Camelot Capers
I love to ski and have taught my three children how to ski. But if you don't follow a few simple guidelines, it can be dangerous.
The Kennedy family is known for its daredevil antics and backyard football games. While in Aspen, Colorado, they decided to combine skiing with football. They were repeatedly warned by the ski patrol that their football game on skis wasn't allowed, but they didn't care. After all, they're the Kennedyspowerful, rich, adventurous. No one could tell them what to do. But the rules weren't there to spoil their fun; they were there to protect them. Sadly, the Kennedys learned that lesson too late. Michael Kennedy was going out for a pass when he lost control and ran headfirst into a tree. At first, laughter broke out at the awesome wipeout, but the laughter soon turned to fear when he didn't get up right away. Michael never got up.
Ignoring God's warning signs can also be deadly.
