Steve got hooked on Internet pornography. As the credit card bills amassed, he met a woman from Eastern Europe on the Internet and began a cyber affair with her. Eventually he traveled to her country for some sexual adventure, still spending money on Internet porn. Finally, his wife confronted him. The total financial price tag amounted to over $225,000. The human price tag was incalculable.

Through extraordinary amounts of prayerful support from friends, Steve and his wife finally reconciled, attended counseling, and relocated to another town to get a fresh start. But the scars will always follow them and they'll be digging out of debt for years.

Think of the billions of dollars resulting in millions of broken lives. We need to think before we look and pray before we pay. Believe me, pornographers care what we do with our money. So, let's consider. How much of our hard-earned cash do we want to invest in this industry? A dollar? A few hundred? I say, not one cent! We are stewards of every hard-earned penny because ultimately the Lord owns it all. May He give us care and conviction about what we do with His funds.
