The Man Satan Loves Theme of the Week: Satan: Scary but not Invincible Kenny Luck Wednesday, October 31, 2007
 1 of 1

Key Bible Verse: Don't try to act important but enjoy the company of ordinary people (Romans 12:16). Bonus Reading: Romans 12:4-5,; 9-10,; 15-18
What kind of Christian does Satan love?
- He swallows Satan's biggest lie: Satan has been overblown by the nutjobs who see a demon under every rock.
- He accepts only the tangible. He feels and sees only material things, without eyes to see the spiritual war for his life and the lives of others.
- He doesn't realize he has weapons. And he doesn't know how, or when to use them. (Read [today's Bonus Reading] for basic weapon training and applications.)
- He allows Satan to oppress him freely. Swayed by criticism, guilt, doubt, fear, and discouragement, he doesn't put up a fight. He doesn't perceive Satan hindering his growth and effectiveness by nudging him away from spiritual disciplines.
- He doesn't know Satan's fears. He sees no power in the presence of God, the utterance of His word, and the sound of Jesus' name.
- He is unaware of his authority by extension from Christ. This man has no orders to convey and act on in spiritual battle.

My Response: Could I be a materialist in the sense that I'm oblivious to spiritual conflict?
Thought to Apply: Our adversary is a master strategist, forever fogging up our minds with smokescreens.—Charles Swindoll (Pastor & author)
