Key Bible Verses: Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love. (1 Corinthians 16:13-14) Dig Deeper: Joshua 1:6-9
During annual corporate gatherings at Joe Gibbs Racing headquarters, each of our sponsors shares how it uses motorsports to enhance its brands and sell products and services. During one particular presentation by an energy drink producer, the presenters declared that their product enhanced sexual performance and then showed a sexually suggestive video.
Following that presentation I suggested we all take a break and asked the three representatives from the drink company to meet in my office. I let the guys know how disappointed and uncomfortable I was by their presentation and made it clear that even though their company was an important financial partner with the race team, it was obvious to me that we could no longer do business together. I then phoned the CEO and explained the reasons for my decision.
Many times in life we are confronted with decisions that require us to take a moral stand. In some cases it can seem really costly—such as in this situation. Maybe you're facing a challenge like this—it could be a decision that will cost you financially. I hope this personal challenge that I just shared will encourage you to seek God's direction, lean on his guidance, and ultimately take the stand you need to take.

My Response: How do I usually respond when confronted with a difficult moral choice?
Thought to Apply: Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.—William Penn (Quaker colonizer, philosopher)
