The Bible clearly says that we should be experiencing love, freedom, joy, peace, and countless other promises of God's abundant life. When our lives look different from those promises, we may find ourselves asking, What's the problem? Is God's Word no longer relevant?
The simple truth is that God's promises are as real today as they have ever been. The problem is not with God or the promises in his Word.
The problem is us.
Would you be willing to take a step of faith, laying aside your chains of fear to trust your life to Jesus' guidance? Yes, it will take commitment and yes, there will be times when following Jesus' instructions will seem difficult—but what's the alternative? Continuing to settle for a mediocre experience with God and a life that never really takes hold of true fulfillment?
God has extended his hand as an invitation to lead you to a full life. And I know deep in your heart you long for more of God and the life he brings. If you will allow yourself to receive the truth that it really is possible for you, desire will well up in your heart, urging you to respond. And this simple response of the heart is how your journey begins.
