What you have inside is so important. This is why what you choose to put inside you is so important.
There is an old saying that is very true: "Garbage in, garbage out." In other words, you will reflect what you take in. Perhaps you saw the movie Supersize Me, about the director who ate the supersize meals at McDonalds for 30 days. He gained 25 pounds during that time, and his body became a reflection of what he took in. Our minds are no different. Like computers, we spit out what we program in. Jesus stated this over and over. For example, Matthew 12:34-35 says, "For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him" (NIV et al.).
What are you storing inside your mind and heart? It will have a significant impact on how you think, feel, talk, and act.
"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things" (Phil. 4:8).
