Key Bible Verse: You must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:18)

Dig Deeper: 2 Peter 3

A few years ago my oldest daughter came home with a test she had failed. That's not permissible in my house. There's no excuse. So when she showed me her test, she said, "What are you going to do?"

I told her, "We're going out to dinner. We're going to go to a movie and out for ice cream. I want you to experience grace." I said, "Look, Dad understands grace because Dad did so many things that were just ugly in God's sight. Still he blessed me with your mom and with you kids. I don't deserve any of this. … I want you to see what it's like to be blessed when you should have been punished."

So we celebrated grace.

When my daughter came home from school the next day, she said, "I told my friends what you did. … They [said they] wish you were their dad." I'm not a perfect father, but I love the thought that in this case my daughter experienced grace to the extent that her friends wanted me to be their dad.

Can you imagine if we actually trembled at God's Word [through the message of our Key Bible Verse]? Maybe people would look at us and say, "I wish I had your God."

My Response: Are people attracted to God by the way I speak and live my faith?

Thought to Apply: Let the study of the Bible be central in your life—not just so you will know it, but that you will obey it.—Billy Graham (evangelist)

Prayer for the Week
Heavenly Father, may I read my Bible with great reverence and expectancy, knowing that I'm reading words that are inspired by you and able to convict me of sin, offer me guidance for daily living, and help me to know you in ever-deepening ways.

Amen, this word is strong and points how we can share in a bold way the love of our lives, God. This is a beautiful word. Thanks M.O.I. Anthony

i pray that this day and in my future---which i can't count on ---people will be attracted to me and to You dear Lord by the things that i speak as well as my actions toward others. i realize that God didn't put me on this Earth to seek my selfish ambitions, but to know Him more deeply. Today, and after, if the Lord blesses me with more, let me be a stronger witness for you. Looking forward, i have much to be thankful for in the Lord. Jesus, make me more of a witness for you in my speech and actions toward others. Let me pay forward what you paid for my past. In Jesus' Name, amen.

MOI- 2 Peter 3; Lord to show your Grace to others. To remember all he has been to me and given me even in my sinful state. When ever I am hard or judge someone I need to remember what you do for me each day of my life. I am amazed and grateful Lord.

I Live in grace, and I know the righteousness I have is in Jesus. In this world we have many troubles but we also have a well of grace. Just to think of the many sins I have done and God through Jesus gave me grace. Even just in my ignorance he gives grace. On duty in the Gulf war I drank bad water(I didn't know it was bad),lost 65% of body fluids Dr said I was lucky, but I know I was blessed with grace. I am still here because of him whom controls life and I still have purpose according to him.
