Moviegoers with a Frodo-shaped hole in their hearts may finally find relief this winter upon the release of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, based on C.S. Lewis' beloved Chronicles of Narnia. Though the movie doesn't open until December 9, promotional activities for the film are already in full swing. BarnaFilms is already selling tickets for a special advance screening on December 8, in select theatres around the country.
Can't make it to one of those screenings? Well, you can always stand in line for tickets. And, while you're doing that, why not attend a Narnia Web-organized "Lion Party?"
Additionally, church leaders can now visit the Narnia Resources homepage for teaching guides and outreach materials based on the movie. And Walden Media, which is producing the film, is holding a sweepstakes for educators to win a free trip for two to London for the world premiere.
