Too Hot or Not?
Personal information withheld due to content of letters.
I opened my mouth in shock a few times, not because I didn't agree with "Christian Sex Rules" [Spring 2001]. I was more shocked because I expected it to be a watered down version of everything else I have read in countless websites. I am a young mother of two and have often had these same questions. I hope to see more articles like this. Tracie
"Christian Sex Rules" was a very big support in helping me to understand my wife's needs and desires. It was exactly what I've been looking for and I am very grateful. It is often so difficult for me and other men to understand the needs of our wives, since we have a fundamentally different understanding of sexuality. Peter
I thank you so much for "Christian Sex Rules." It's sad that most churches are afraid, embarrassed, or too uncomfortable to talk about sex, a God-given gift. This article could not have been written any better. I'm inspired to explore different sexual experiences with my wife to achieve even greater satisfaction for both of us. I'd like to see more articles covering various topics in more detail. Darrell
Sex is not a sin within a committed marriage, and talking about it is great, but I thought "Christian Sex Rules" was too explicit and it could cause a weaker brother to sin. Mark
Financial Foolishness
Scott Kays' article "Home Finances" [Spring 2001] expressed an idea that we continue to find troubling regarding paying off your home mortgage early with the option to invest the saved money. When God meets our needs (food, clothing, and shelter), he provides funding for these. We should not allocate God's resources to other investments, presuming that we will be able to get greater return. In order to let no debt remain outstanding except the debt of love, God's resources must be appropriately applied. John Thomas

Picture's Not Perfect
Why are only young, attractive couples pictured in the magazine lately? I enjoyed the testimonies, trials, and triumphs shared by older, experienced couples in issues not long ago. Lately, though, it would be more appropriate to call your magazine "New Marriage Partnership." How ironic that a magazine dedicated to promoting the longevity of marriage should show only young, attractive couples. I challenge you to picture couples who look experienced, perhaps even those sporting grey hair, wrinkles, and bifocals. Donna Siefert
