Ministry, like a rollercoaster ride, has plenty of highs and lows. But that's nothing new. Jud Wilhite reminds us of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 5:11:

"'… we are giving you a reason to be proud of us so you can answer those who brag about having a spectacular ministry rather than having a sincere heart.' Here's the nugget: Paul is making a distinction between a spectacular ministry and those who brag about having a spectacular ministry with having a faithful and sincere heart. Paul's implying we don't have a spectacular ministry, according to the cultural definition of spectacular, but we have faithful and sincere hearts."
