Son of God, Son of Man
By J. Stephen Lang
Son of God, Son of Man One of the greatest mysteries of our faith is that the man Jesus was also the Son of God. Fully divine, yet fully human, God's Son, born in a stable, reared by a carpenter and his wifepretty amazing. Christians have been meditating on this for centuries in hymns, poems, and other writings. Test your knowledge of what the Bible reveals about the Son of God, who chose to call Himself Son of Man.

- At the time of Jesus' death, who uttered the words "Surely this man was the Son of God"?
- In Luke's Gospel, what person, other than Jesus, is referred to as the "son of God"?
- What New Testament epistle refers to Jesus as "a great high priest"?
- In Acts, what faithful man saw "heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God"?
- In John's Gospel, what distraught woman tells Jesus, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God"?
- Complete this saying of Jesus: "The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a _____ for many."
- Which Gospel begins by declaring itself "the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God"?
- What hostile person asked Jesus to "Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God"?
- In John's Gospel, what person says, "I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God"?
