After tough years of vocal issues and divorce (and remarriage), vocalist Mark Stuart teams up with bassist and former Audio Adrenaline bandmate Will McGinniss to launch Know Hope Collective. While not very innovative, the self-titled album succeeds as an honest, personal worship project rather than the “run around and get crazy” rock that used to typify Audio A. They explore themes of brokenness and restoration, but the music lacks lyrical vulnerability, and a more authentic sound would have lent better to the intended intimate atmosphere. Overall, it’s a solid worship album, though a little over-produced.
