Belfast’s Bluetree landed on the worldwide map when Chris Tomlin covered the group’s “God of This City,” but the entire touring whirlwind that followed caused a season of unsettling writer’s block. This new offering lacks the cutting edge creativity of its 2009 debut, but the band is ready to unfurl a new round of church anthems spun in the Euro-pop/rock tradition. It’s mostly a praise project, and there’s a nice song called “Jesus Healer,” about singer/songwriter Aaron Boyd’s daughter’s journey with cystic fibrosis.
