Top tracks: "His Kind of Love," "Fearless, ""Darkest Valley"

Saturated with loads of hip-hop and pop-rock ear candy, the multi-Dove Award winning group's fourth album counters struggles like self-image, anxiety, and heartache with lyrical encouragement to adventurously trust God—supporting the group's website's reminders of hope based around their number one lead single "He Said" (featuring Chris August). Alternating Blanca Reyes Callahan's towering vocals, especially strong on the symphonic-pop ballad title track, with bandmate Ben Callahan's uplifting rap rhymes, G1C's musical prowess is undeniable. However, oscillating bold faith content ("Darkest Valley") with benign party jams ("Night of My Life") threatens to counteract the group's strong lyrical convictions.
