It is one thing to be virtuous when we live comfortably, but crises show our true character. Two firsthand accounts of life in World War II prison camps reduce human nature to a manageable size for study. How well would we have done under similar circumstances? How well do we do today? This study will explore how suffering reveals what is in our hearts.
