Style: Alternative rock; compare to Kutless, Skillet, Switchfoot

Top tracks: "Impossible," "We Owe This to Ourselves," "Pray Tell"

Not much has changed since Anberlin's debut album in 2002. They're still riding that last long wave of alternative rock that washed so many other bands ashore at the turn of the century. With their car-commercial hooks, contemplative ballads and high production values, Anberlin sounds like they're still trying to get on MTV's (now defunct) TRL. It's difficult to hear anything in the lyrics pointing to Christianity, but if you're looking for loud arena rock that's safe for teenage ears, Anberlin's latest will receive their approval.
