Top tracks: "Supernova," "Hope," "Are You Ready?"
Though exposed to Christianity during her youth, Beckah Shae spent her teen years battling drugs, eating disorders, and depression. She has rededicated her life to God, and here turns in a street-savvy songwriting style gained from firsthand experience in those dark corners. Though the disc is sometimes dripping with too much production, it keys into today's current dance/pop/R&B trends with relevance and infectiousness.
