Style: Upbeat pop; compare to Rachael Lampa, Jamie Grace, Britt Nicole
Top tracks: "Love All the Way," "Miracle," "Put It All Together"
As a teen, Hargest found fame as a member of Radio Disney regulars Jump5. Now in her 20s, she's gone solo, retaining the same upbeat pop production, but with more mature vocals and subject matter. Similar to most in the top 40 today, dance beats abound over throbbing bass lines, but there are also a handful of ballads to showcase her increasingly expansive range. Perhaps most impressive is Hargest's commitment to wholesome lyrics, and even with a pre-existing mainstream fan base, she never waters down messages of viewing oneself through God's eyes or his relentless pursuit of the lost.
