National Association of Evangelicals (NAE)

Formed during World War II, the National Association of Evangelicals represented an effort to forge an ecumenical partnership of conservative Protestants that would move beyond the sectarian spirit of early 20th-century fundamentalism. The NAE is commonly recognized as one of the catalysts of evangelicalism’s impressive postwar resurgence.
