Morning Worship, N'ville Flood, & Disaster Relief

This morning was a great day of worship at Two Rivers Church. We had nine families participate in a baby dedication, we celebrated Mother's Day, and I shared a message on "Trusting God Through Crises." I will post that message soon.

We were so glad to have neighbors come and worship with us-- even had some people come who needed immediate disaster relief help. Thanks to the generosity of our people and the community we were able to immediately help and serve the hurting.

I pointed out some of the things I mentioned in my last two posts, including sharing the story in The Tennessean about our webcast and reminding everyone what I have been sharing with our church family.

We have been busy, but God is good.

Yesterday was a busy day at our Two Rivers facility. Hands on Nashville coordinated out of our church. Samartian's Purse coordinated teams of our church people and others that came along to help.

Here is a video from our work yesterday that will give you a picture of some of the devastation and work.

We're distributing water and doing volunteer projects... and lots of water:

The Samaritan's Purse command center will be operating out of Two Rivers for at least until the end of May.

Please find a way to be a part-- you can get involved by giving or volunteering at the Two Rivers Disaster Relief page.
