I'm writing this while on the road.
On Thursday, I had a great time at the WFX Conference in Dallas. Lots of worship pastors, tech folks, and some pastors, all in the Dallas Convention Center.
My flight that day was cancelled-- what a mess. I could not book another and ended up driving to Branson, MO. After getting in VERY late (or I guess it was early), to speak at the American Association of Christian Counselors national conference.
Tomorrow, I preach at Cross Church, pastored by my friend Ronnie Floyd, in Northwest AR.
Finally, on Monday, we are doing a conference in Springfield, MO and it is not too late for you to sign up.
Looking Ahead
In just a few weeks, I'll be headed to a couple of great Christian institutions in Chicagoland. I will spend some time at both Wheaton College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
My first stop in the Chicago area is Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I am thankful to be able to attend the inauguration of their new(ish) president, Dr. David Dockery.
During the day on Tuesday, I will be teaching in a few classes.
On Tuesday night from 7:30 to 9pm, I am privileged to host a roundtable discussion about the future of evangelicalism, denominationalism, and a number of other topics. Joining me for the discussion will be Don Carson, Peter Cha, Paige Cunningham, Timothy George, Bryan Loritts, and Tom Nelson.
Then, on Wednesday, I'm headed down the road a bit to Wheaton College.
On Wednesday morning, I'll be speaking in Wheaton Graduate School's chapel.
Later on in the day, I'll be speaking at an Evangelism in the Public Square Event at Wheaton's Billy Graham Center.
I'll be taking Donna with me, so that makes it an even better trip.
Pray we make much of Jesus!
