Good article. I would, however, suggest that reaching groups that are first and even second generation immigrants from places like Romania, South Korea or any nation in South America or Africa can be very easily done. Recruit pastors from those places to come to the USA. There would be no trouble finding those pastors to come, evangelize, plant and pastor among their own in the USA. What is more complicated is reaching people like Kurds, Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims that may require the same kind of training of cross-cultural missionaries.

Should change the title to Evangelism "and" Missions... they are one and the same... here or abroad.

I think this is a great idea, I've met and worked with more Athiests in the last 15 to 20 yr.s than at any other point in my 52yr.s. I think we not only need to reach the immigrant's we also need to reach Americans who have rejected God and the Gospel of hope. Our Educational Institutions are teaching God to be a fairy tale more and more, yet this is a country that professes to be Christian by 80%. The Bible says we believe by faith, and this is true , we do believe by faith, but the Lords presence in our lives gives us so much to believe in,though there are valley's, I can't call it a blind faith. We have to pray and find a way to convey this to those who don't know Jesus. Jesus spoke of hell as a very real place of suffering that has no end. Jim D.
