Church Leadership
Pastoral Transition: A Very Personal Note
Changing chairs after 25 years as lead pastor at the same church is so unusual that we never could have planned it.

A New Chapter Of Ministry

Shelley and I never expected to find ourselves here.

Changing chairs after 25 years as lead pastor at the same church is so unusual that we never could have planned it.

And now we get to spend even more time writing about our previous and ongoing pastoral experiences (including a few mistakes along the way) with the hope and prayer that it touches fellow pastors.

We have the awesome privilege of traveling and meeting some of the greatest of God’s servants – our fellow small church pastors. And we get to learn at least as much from you as you learn from us.

Then, we get to come back home to a great family and a great church that supports us in every possible way.

We are blessed. And we are grateful.
