Jeff Jensen speaks specifically to our culture's recent bent toward a lack of hope and falling into despair when considering the future. However, he points to the church as a place where you can find hope even in the most difficult times. He recounts the loss of his wife and how the community of the church is what helped he and his family remain hopeful. The church cultivated in him a sense of hope and knowledge that this is not the end, and that gave them the hope in daily life to thrive and not to give up on faith as a result.
