This volume is full of tremendous insights, useful illustrations, and sparkling prose!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ronald Wallace, The Lord is King: The Message of Daniel (Downers Grove: IVP, 1979).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wallace was one of the pre-eminent bible scholars and theologians of the past generation. This volume contains innumerable theological gems and handles the apocalyptic sections with exceptional sensitivity and insight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Christopher J.H. Wright, Hearing the Message of Daniel: Sustaining Faith in Today\u2019s World (Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This helpful volume reflects Wright\u2019s tremendous facility with Old Testament literature but is written for those who teach, preach, and pastor people who live and work in the secular realm ala\u2019 Daniel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Note: Our list of recommendations is just getting started.
