(Church Rescue airs on the <a href=\"http:\/\/channel.nationalgeographic.com\/channel\/church-rescue\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">National Geographic<\/a> channel.)<\/li>\n<li>Have your checkbooks and credit cards handy; it&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/formerlyfundie\/driscoll-scholarship-fund-for-women-in-ministry\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark Driscoll Scholarship for Women in Ministry<\/a> &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>&#8230; and from the same writer, five reasons he&#8217;s not sure about his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/formerlyfundie\/christian-movies\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">children watching Christian movies<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If multiculturalism is the norm for urban ministry where you live, here&#8217;s a counter-suggestion that we <a href=\"http:\/\/chuckwarnockblog.wordpress.com\/2013\/11\/04\/why-we-still-need-some-monocultural-churches\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">still need some monocultural churches<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>In the past, New Jersey courts ruled that shopping malls were &#8220;quasi-public&#8221; venues; and so asserted a retired police officer who was <a href=\"http:\/\/christiannews.net\/2013\/11\/10\/retired-police-officer-arrested-for-sharing-gospel-in-new-jersey-mall\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">charged with trespassing for distributing tracts<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Trevin Wax is asked about switching from writing about theology to writing fiction, but clearly, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/le\/2013\/november-online-only\/friday-five-trevin-wax.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">he doesn&#8217;t get the question<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Another Christian organization has shut down its operations due to marital infidelity, but it&#8217;s really <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatlanticwire.com\/national\/2013\/11\/infidelity-scandal-just-shuttered-major-biblical-patriarchy-organization\/71484\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">only <em>half<\/em> of its operations<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Essay of the Week: A piece at CNN about <a href=\"http:\/\/religion.blogs.cnn.com\/2013\/11\/08\/the-obamacare-question-pastors-shun\/?hpt=hp_c2\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">pastors who aren&#8217;t speaking out<\/a> about issues in the U.S. health care scheme.<\/li>\n<li>Essay of the Summer: The votes are all in\u2014actually it&#8217;s just me that votes\u2014and the winner, from late July is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stevekmccoy.com\/reformissionary\/2013\/07\/vows-20-years-later.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Steve McCoy&#8217;s article on the 20th anniversary<\/a> of his and Molly&#8217;s marriage.<\/li>\n<li>The guy known by his initials, N.T. Wright, takes issue with the other guy known by his initials, C. S.
