Remember, you don&#8217;t want to know what&#8217;s on the internet, you want to know <em>what else is on<\/em>, and this week that was quite a lot!<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Okay, it doesn&#8217;t rank up there with <em>A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23<\/em> but in this case, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/entertainment\/columnists\/mark-lamster\/20130629-architecture-review-first-baptist-of-dallas-builds-a-130-million-corporate-behemoth.ece\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">an architect looks at the $130 million worship center<\/a> that is First Baptist Church of Dallas.<\/li>\n<li>Or how about a <a href=\"http:\/\/learningmylines.blogspot.ca\/2013\/07\/a-little-primer-for-parents-on-teens.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">youth specialist looks at teens and peer pressure<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The Pope orders a statue of himself taken down to avoid a &#8220;cult of personality.&#8221; Strong words were exchanged between Francis and the priest responsible. &#8220;Get that thing down, immediately,&#8221; the Argentinean newspaper Clarin reported. With that attitude, <a href=\"http:\/\/networkedblogs.com\/N3ZDq\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">he&#8217;d never make it in North American charismatic circles<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>In 2009, Christianity Today published, &#8220;The Case for Early Marriage.&#8221; Now exactly four years later, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/women\/2013\/july\/christian-case-against-early-marriage.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">a writer challenges that thesis<\/a> at another CT website.<\/li>\n<li>Randy Alcorn&#8217;s <em>Heaven<\/em> is out in a new format, but some Christians are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epm.org\/blog\/2013\/Jul\/12\/graphic-novel-christ-honoring\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">uncomfortable with the graphic novel genre<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The Jesus People movement reached it&#8217;s peak in 1972? Hey, it was just getting started then.
