In the movie, Avengers: Endgame<\/em> the superheroes are at a loss. The evil Thanos has destroyed half of all living creatures in the universe. He looks unbeatable! The Avengers appear to have as much chance of defeating him as you have of winning Powerball. They're unsure of what to do next. But to undo Thanos' evil work, the one glimmer of hope is their solemn pledge to do "whatever it takes!"
