I love to talk about stewardship.

I recently preached two sermons on stewardship at Mars Hill Church in Seattle and at Christ Fellowship in Miami. You can find my Mars Hill sermon here.

Here is my sermon from Christ Fellowship:

Joy and Generosity - God's Ownership, Psalm 24 (Ed Stetzer) from Christ Fellowship Miami on Vimeo.

My denomination has partnered with Crown Financial Ministries to develop a curriculum on financial stewardship called "It's a New Day." They offer a number of resources, one of which is a curriculum kit offered to pastors free of charge to help their churches think through the issues involved. Here's a description from their website:

This curriculum kit serves as a church wide outreach program for starting a comprehensive financial teaching program in your church. The kit includes a four week sermon series with video and outlines, age graded Bible study lessons, Power Point presentations, and listening notes to help your church effectively and economically teach God's financial principles.

The curriculum kit includes a four-week sermon series that I preached at First Baptist Hendersonville, as well as my notes and preaching outlines. It's a resource that I was glad to share and participate in. There are still some kits left, and I would encourage you to look into this as a resource for your church. You can learn more and get it free here.
