Tracie Hittman is a nutritionist teaching residents of Madison, Wisconsin, how eating veggies will help lower their blood pressure. Donnie Caffery sells food at his Richmond, Virginia, grocery store that resembles "how God created the food in the first place." Both of these Christians are motivated by the belief that our bodies are temples given to us by God—and thus should be stewarded rightly, if we are to have kingdom impact in this life.

The cool thing about eating real food is that not only does it fill you with energy and stave off all kinds of diseases, but it's cheap! Stick to the perimeter of the grocery store and you'll be amazed how the totals drop.

After my 36 year old daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, we have made some major changes in what we eat and how we prepare it. She is doing much better as we have done so much research and the consensus is that the American diet is killing our young adults. She wishes that everyone was aware of how they treat their bodies as she was extremely fit but consumed diet drinks and hidden sugar in low fat foods. Now we are all following "The Makers Diet" and her latest scans show improvement. God is good! Being educated on what you consume is the only way to maintain health, and much prayer by many wonderful Christian friends.
