‘Esquire’ on Skills Men Need

Esquire magazine ran an article titled "25 Skills Every Man Should Know." It focuses on what Esquire calls the 25 skills that will set you apart as a "man of action." Here are examples from their list of 25 essential, manly skills:

How to skin a moose. (Here's step 1: "Track, kill, gut, and behead the animal.") How to get a busy bartenders attention. How to buy a woman clothing. (Here's Esquire's first and only step: "Don't".) How to look good in a picture. How to parallel park (like a man). How to make pancakes from scratch. How to carve a turkey. How to kill a wounded animal. How to shine your shoes. How to console a crying woman.

Possible Preaching Angles: Father's Day; Men—Esquire's list is definitely interesting, but based on God's Word, what would God say are the top skills that every man should have? (2) Spiritual Disciplines; Bible study—Every Christian (men and women) should also know how to pray, how to study the Bible, and so forth.
