David Kinnaman, president of Barna Research Group, suggests that there are 5 areas of influence that we must consider in order to disciple the next generation. Cultural discernment, life-shaping relationships, reverse mentoring, vocational discipleship, and having a first-hand experience with Jesus are at the core of how we need to disciple millenials. When practiced, these antidotes can help restore the millenial's hope in the local church.
