Jesus and the apostle Paul both taught that unity is the key indicator of Christian maturity (John 17; Ephesians 4). It’s tempting to think that unity means we are always in agreement and are free from conflict. On the contrary, Dave Ramsey has found that confrontation is an essential ingredient for unity.
