Jesus told his followers, Go and make disciples of all nations. Pastors know well that no two people under their care are in the same place spiritually. Making and growing disciples involves taking people’s spiritual temperature, helping them confront and address sin, guiding them to develop a love for Scripture, and much more.

As church leaders, transformation is at the heart of all that we do. The goal of Christian leadership is to help people experience and grow in the love of Christ as they know him, love him, and serve him better. But when church leaders are faced with so many organizational and administrative tasks, what does it actually look like to foster spiritual formation among those you lead?
